This chicken dish is quick and easy and delish! I do these a little differently than most. Can use Ritz crackers but I like the bread crumbs as I like to taste the cheddar cheese. I also like the texture of the bread crumbs better. I also do not use eggs to dip the chicken in. By the way, it is very kid-friendly. By the way, I am guesstimating the amounts as I just throw this together. :)

1 cancream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)

How To Make crispy cheddar chicken

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Slice chicken breasts into three pieces. This will help your chicken cook quickly and make it easy to serve the children.

2Gather three pans or dishes to fill with the milk, sharp cheddar, and bread crumbs. Add the salt, pepper, and garlic salt to the bread crumbs and mix.

3Dip chicken pieces in the milk first.

4Then roll in the cheese.

5Gently with your hands sprinkle the bread crumbs all over the chicken to cover.

6Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place chicken on the parchment paper.

7Sprinkle the tops of the chicken with parsley.

8Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and juice runs clear.

9The time depends on the size of the chicken pieces so watch closely.

10Prepare the sauce by mixing the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and butter in a small saucepan until hot. I add a little pepper to the sauce.

11Spoon over the chicken. Serve with your choice of potatoes, pasta, or rice for a side.
