    bone in chicken thighs
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 8 oz
    mushrooms
  • SAUCE
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    chicken stock
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • fresh parsley chopped

How To Make creamy garlic parmesan mushroom chicken

    In a large skillet add the oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken about 15 minutes turning to get it browned well on both sides. Remove the chicken to a plate and set aside. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are browned. Remove to a plate.

    Add the butter to the pan and let it melt. Add the garlic and cook until tender. Add the flour and whisk well. Whisk in the chicken stock, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese.

    Add the chicken and mushrooms back to the pan. Cook in the sauce another 10 minutes. Garnish with the parsley and serve
