I have made this recipe for years and my family loves it. They all have the recipe. It has a wonderful flavor and is rich and creamy.

Ingredients For creamy chicken and rice casserole

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts or chicken pieces of your choice
  • 1 can
    cream chicken soup
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1 jar
    diced pimento
  • half diced
    green bell pepper
  • 1 can
    french fried onions or more. i like a lot. :)
  • 1 c
    long grain white rice
  • 2 1/2 c
    chicken stock

How To Make creamy chicken and rice casserole

    Brown chicken pieces in small amount of oil and butter mixed.

    Mix all other ingredients and put in large casserole dish. Lay chicken on top and por a small amount of butter and oil over the top.

    Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake longer until rice is done and chicken is browned on top.
