Ingredients For creamy almond chicken

  • 1 c
    butter
  • 2/3 c
    sliced almonds
  • 6
    boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1
    can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp
    orange marmalade
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1/8 tsp
    red pepper flakes

How To Make creamy almond chicken

    Melt 1 tbsp butter in the skillet. Add almonds and cook until browned. Remove almonds, set aside.

    Pound chicken breasts thin.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Melt remaining butter in skillet. Add chicken and cook until browned.

    Add 1/3 cup toasted almonds, heavy cream, cream of chicken soup, marmalade, Dijon and red pepper flakes, stir.

    Simmer for 10 minutes, until sauce thickens. Garnish with remaining almonds. Serve with rice.
