Ingredients For country style chicken and noodles

1 pkg(8 oz.) egg noodles

1/2 cbutter
-
1/3 cflour
-
3/4 cmilk
-
2 cchicken stock
-
salt & pepper to taste

2 canmushroom stems & pieces, drained

2boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces, or a rotisserie chicken, skin removed and pulled

1 Tbspolive oil

1/4 cfresh, grated parmesan cheese

2 Tbspfresh, chopped parsley
How To Make country style chicken and noodles

1Cook noodles according to package directions.

2Meanwhile, in a deep skillet, heat olive oil and saute chicken until cooked. Remove from pan, set aside. (Skip this step if using pulled rotisserie chicken)

3Return pan to stove and heat butter in pan, blend in flour with a wire whisk until smooth. Add broth and milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add salt & pepper.

4Add mushrooms, noodles and chicken to sauce, stir until well combined and warmed through.

5Plate and top with Parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley.
