This is one of those recipes that is an easy go to on a night when I haven't prepared for anything. I usually have all the ingredients in and it's quick to come together. Best of all, it's yummy!

Ingredients For chili-pasta skillet

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1
    large onion, chopped
  • 2 can
    kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes (not drained)
  • 1 can
    zesty green chili & tomatoes (not drained)
  • 16 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 3/4 c
    elbow macaroni
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    garlic salt
  • shredded cheddar or monterey jack

How To Make chili-pasta skillet

  • 1
    Cook beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is tender.

    Stir in beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, dried macaroni, chili powder and garlic salt. Bring to a boil then reduce heat.

    Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stirring often. Sprinkle with cheese when serving.
