Not sure why this is called Chili Chicken, unless it's because of the peppers...this would probably be good without the peppers if your family doesn't go for the hot stuff.

Ingredients For chili chicken

1 lgbag wide egg noodles, cooked just until soft

1 smonion

2 Tbspbutter

3 cancream of mushroom soup

1 lgcan sliced mushrooms, drained

1 lgjar diced pimento, drained

.......salt and pepper to taste

1whole chicken, boiled, deboned

?????jalapeno peppers, seeds removed... as many as you like, according to your taste

1 lbgrated cheddar cheese (might want a little more.. enough to cover casserole twice
How To Make chili chicken

1Preheat over to 350*

2In a large sauce pan, saute onion in butter. Add soup, mushrooms, pimento, salt and pepper.

3Spray large casserole dish with non-stick spray. Layer (twice): noodles, chicken, peppers, soup mixture and cheese.

4Cover and bake for 30 to 45 minutes until hot and bubbly.
