chicken with pear and red onion sauce
(1 rating)
My husband is very fond of chicken...cooked in any form! I am fond of fruit and sauces in most any form. This recipe was created using all three of those ingredients. It has a sweet flavor with a touch of spice from the Sesame Oil. Serve it with plain rice or Skillet Confetti Corn (fresh).

Add garlic and sesame oil; continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes releasing the flavor of the garlic. Remove chicken breasts from the skillet.

Pour sauce mixture into the pan, stirring well. Add chicken breasts to the sauce. Reduce heat to low; cook approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Stir occasionally until chicken is thoroughly cooked and sauce is thickened. Serve.
