Ingredients For chicken with mushroom gravy

  • 4
    boneless chicken breast
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/4 c
    white wine
  • 1/4 c
    chicken broth
  • 10 1/2 oz
    cream of musroom or chicken soup
  • 1 lb
    mushrooms, fresh
  • 1/4 c
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated

How To Make chicken with mushroom gravy

    Pre heat oven to 375

    Combine flour,garlic salt,pepper,parm, and Italian seasoning in a shallow pan for dredging.

    Heat about 1/4 cup oil in lg pan on med high heat. Dredge chicken in flour mixture and lightly fry in oil till golden. Remove and drain on paper towel

    Place chicken in baking dish and bake in oven for about 10 to 15 min or till juices run clear.

    In same pan chicken was cooked in,drain out oil then add in mushrooms and saute for a few minutes then add in chicken broth and wine and scrape all the bits and pieces off bottom of pan, this is where alot of flavor comes from. Add in can of soup and let simmer. Spoon over chicken.
