This chicken is awesome!! They taste like spareribs, but are actually chicken. It's all in the sauce.

Ingredients For chicken w/ sparerib sauce

  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 2 lb
    boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 3/4 c
    plus 1 tbsp water
  • 1/4 c
    lite soy sauce
  • 1/3 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch

How To Make chicken w/ sparerib sauce

    Heat oil in lg skillet, over med-high heat. Add chicken. Brown on all sides for about 5-7 mins.

    In bowl, combine 3/4 cup water, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, garlic and ginger. Mix well and stir into chicken in skillet.

    Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 15 mins, stirring occasionally. In small bowl, combine cornstarch and 1 tbsp water until smooth. Stir into skillet and cook until sauce thickens. I serve this over rice.
