Ingredients For chicken velvet

1 1/2 lbboneless chicken thighs cut into pieces

salt and white pepper

3 Tbspolive oil

1 cfresh mushrooms chopped

3 Tbspflour

1 1/2 cchicken stock

1 cheavy cream

2 tsptraders joes mushroom and company umami seasoning (opt)

1 cshredded cheddar cheese

1 Tbspfresh parsley chopped
How To Make chicken velvet

1Season the chicken with salt and white pepper Add oil to a large skillet. Add the chicken and cook until browned. Add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes. Add the flour and cook 2 minutes. Pour in the chicken stock and cream.

2Add the Umami seasoning if using. Simmer 10 minutes. Add the shredded cheese and simmer until cheese is melted.

3Serve over fettucine or egg noodles and garnish with parsley.
