Ingredients For chicken vegetable ramen

  • 1 pkg
    ramen noodles
  • 2
    boneless skinless chicken thighs cut into pieces
  • seasoning packet from noodles
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 sm
    onion diced
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 c
    shiitake mushrooms stemmed and sliced
  • 1 c
    carrots cut into matchsticks
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 c
    red cabbage thinly sliced
  • fresh cilantro for garnish
  • SAUCE
  • 1 Tbsp
    each dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce and mirin

How To Make chicken vegetable ramen

    Mix the sauce ingredients together and set aside. Season the chicken with the packet of seasoning from the ramen package. Place oil in a wok or large skillet

    Add the onion and garlic. Cook 2 minutes. Add the chicken and cook until the outsides are beginning to brown. Add the sauce mix and cook 1 minute. Add the mushrooms and cook 3 more minutes. Add the carrots cook 2 more minutes. Add the water and bring to a boil

    Drop the noodles in the boiling water. Stir it around and then turn it over and keep cooking and breaking up the noodles. Add the cabbage and cook 2 minutes. Serve garnished with the cilantro
