When my children were young a friend of mine gave me this recipe. I have made it many times for my family. They love it every time. I haven't measured the ingredients out in a long time because I usually make it by memory now. It goes really well with either mashed potatoes or white rice.

Ingredients For chicken tumblers

  • 2-3
    boneless, skinlees chicken breasts
  • 3 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp
    miralce whip
  • 1 pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 1/4 c
    2% milk
  • 2 can
    pilsbury crescent rolls
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

How To Make chicken tumblers

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x11" baking dish. Bring 4-6 cups of water to a boil.

    Cook chicken breast in boiling water until done (once they turn white). Cut into bite size pieces. Mix together with Miracle Whip. Roll up in crescent rolls. Place "Tumblers" into a 8x11" baking dish and place in 350 degree oven until golden brown.

    While "Tumblers" are baking, mix soup, milk, flour, and salt & pepper until they have a gravy-like consistency. Set aside.

    Once "Tumblers" are golden brown, remove pan from oven. Pour soup mixture over "Tumblers". Add cheddar cheese (optional). Place back in oven until soup bubbles.
