Ingredients For chicken stroganoff

4boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 Tbsponions, chopped

2 tspbutter, melted

1/2 lbfresh mushrooms, sliced

1/4 cchicken broth

1/4 cdry white wine

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1/4 tspthyme
-
1/4 csour cream
-
hot cooked noodles
How To Make chicken stroganoff

1Cut the chicken into 1/2 inch strips; set chicken aside.

2Saute the onion in 2 teaspoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add the chicken, and saute 4 to 5 minutes or until chicken is browned. Remove the chicken from the skillet, reserving the drippings in the skillet. Set the chicken aside.

3Add 1 teaspoon butter to skillet; cook over medium heat until melted. Add the mushrooms and saute for 2 minutes. Stir in broth and the next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the liquid is reduced by half. Add the reserved chicken; cook until thoroughly heated. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream. Serve with noodles if desired.
