Ingredients For chicken rolls

  • 3 oz
    cream cheese
  • 3 oz
    cream cheese, with chives
  • 3/4 c
    butter, divided
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 c
    cooked chicken, cubed
  • 4 oz
    stems & pieces mushrooms, drained
  • 2 can
    refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 c
    nuts, finely chopped
  • 2/3 c
    stuffing mix, finely crushed
  • SAUCE:
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/3 c
    water
  • 1/4 c
    sour cream
  • lemon juice, to taste

How To Make chicken rolls

    Preheat oven 325.
  • 2
    Cream together cream cheese, pepper and 1/4 cup butter. Fold in chicken and mushrooms. Place 1/4 cup of mixture on each roll, then roll-up and seal.

    Combine stuffing mix and nuts in a bowl; set aside.

    Dip rolls in 1/2 cup melted butter, then roll in the stuffing mixture. Bake for 25 minutes.

    Heat the sauce ingredients in a double boiler and then pour over the chicken rolls.
