Ingredients For chicken rice casserole

pat of butter
-
1 cdiced celery
-
1 Tbspchopped onion

1 2/3 crice, cooked

1 cansliced water chestnuts, drained

1/2 cmayo
-
2 cchicken, cooked and chopped

1 pkgslivered almonds (small package)

1 cancream of chicken soup

1/4 stickbutter
-
1 ccorn flakes, crushed
How To Make chicken rice casserole

1In small skillet, saute celery and onion in butter to soften.

2In separate pan, cook rice according to package directions to get 1 2/3 cup of cooked rice.

3Mix sauted celery, onion, rice and all other ingredients.

4Butter a 9x13" casserole dish; spoon mixture into dish.

5Melt 1/4 stick butter with 1 cup crushed corn flakes. Pour over top of casserole.

6Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
