With a mix of sweet, tangy, and savory, what's not to love about these chicken kabobs? This is an easy kabob recipe. You can fix the chicken and pineapple ahead of time. Then, slide on the skewers for a quick meal or entree for your next party. You don't even need a side dish when serving these. They're very filling. We love the mix of flavors in these kabobs.

Ingredients For chicken pineapple kabobs

  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 8
    boneless chicken breast, cut into 2" pieces
  • 1 20 oz can
    pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1/2 c
    your favorite bbq sauce (I love Sunset Gourmet's sweet & spicy brown sugar bourbon sauce)

How To Make chicken pineapple kabobs

  • Marinade ingredients in a bowl.

    In a shallow glass dish, mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic powder.
  • Chicken and pineapple added to the marinade.

    Stir the chicken pieces and pineapple into the marinade until well coated.
  • Dish covered and ready to refridgerate.

    Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Threading chicken and pineapple onto skewers.

    Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate. Thread chicken and pineapple alternately onto skewers.
  • Chicken kabobs on the grill.

    Grill 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.
  • Brushing chicken kabobs with barbecue sauce.

    Turn occasionally and baste with bbq sauce.
