This is one of those meals you can make when you get home from work late and the family is starving. Very tasty and easy to make.

Ingredients For chicken parmesan

  • 4-6
    frozen breaded chicken patties.
  • 1 pkg
    spaghetti pasta
  • 2 jar
    favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 2 can
    sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • salt
  • 1 pkg
    shredded italian blend cheese.

How To Make chicken parmesan

  • 1
    Bring pasta water to a boil with the salt and olive oil. Cook pasta to your desired doneness. Drain well.

    Bake the chicken patties on a cookie sheet according the directions on the package.

    In a large sauce pan, combine the spaghetti sauce, mushrooms and seasonings. Simmer while the pasta cooks and the chicken patties are baking.

    When the chicken patties are done, place in a shallow baking dish. Spoon some of the spaghetti sauce over the top. Add shredded Italian blend cheese. Put the pan in the oven. Bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly. I let it brown just slightly.

    Serve with the cooked pasta topped with remaining spaghetti sauce and garden salad or your choice of vegetable.
