Ingredients For chicken noodle casserole

2 cchicken, cooked and chopped

1/2 pkgegg noodles, cooked and drained

2 ccheddar cheese, shredded

2/3 cmilk
-
1/2 csour cream
-
3 Tbspolive oil
-
1 1/2 ccelery, chopped

1 canmushrooms, small pieces
-
1/2 cgreen bell pepper, chopped

4 ozpimentos, chopped and drained

1/4 conion, chopped
-
1 cancream of chicken soup
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
5/8 tsppepper

1/2 calmonds, slivered and toasted
How To Make chicken noodle casserole

1In a large skillet, heat oil.

2Add celery, peppers and onion. Cook until tender.

3Stir in soup, milk, sour cream and cheese; heat on low until cheese melts.

4Combine noodles, cheese sauce, chicken, mushrooms, pimento and seasonings.

5Pour into 3 quart baking dish and top with almonds.

6Bake in 350° oven for 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
