Ingredients For chicken marsala

3 lbchicken cutlets

2 cflour

1 pkgportobello mushrooms, cleaned and sliced

2shallots, thinly sliced

1 bottledry marsala wine

1 stickbutter

2 Tbspolive oil

salt/pepper
How To Make chicken marsala

1salt/pepper the chicken cutlets, put flour on a plate and lightly flour both sides of cutlets.

2in a large skillet, on med-high put about a teaspoon of the butter and a little bit of olive oil ( so butter doesn't burn)...gently brown both sides of the cutlets, do in batches and place on a platter.

3after all the cutlets are out, saute the mushrooms and shallots...pour in the bottle of marsala wine and reduce about 5 mins of a semi-boil...add a tablespoon of butter, gentle stir another 5 mins...and pour over cutlets...

4serve over garlic mashed potatoes and your choice of veggie...yummy
