Ingredients For chicken macaroni casserole

2 Tbspbutter, room temperature

1/4 cflour
-
2 clight cream
-
1 1/2 cto 2 cups chicken broth

3/4 lbvelveeta, cubed

27 oz boxes elbow macaroni, cooked & drained

3 ccubed cooked chicken
-
12 oz pimiento, drained
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tsppepper
How To Make chicken macaroni casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2In Large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour until combined.

3Add cream and 1 1/2 cups broth all at once; stir til smooth. Cook and stir til thickened & bubbly;cook & stir 2 minutes more.

4Remove from heat; add cheese & stir til melted.

5Stir in Macaroni, chicken, pimiento, salt & pepper. Add additional broth if needed.

6Pour into 3 quart baking dish and bake uncovered for 40 minutes or til heated through.
