liver is good for ya so i wanted to come up with yummy way to fix it... this works for hubby and i.........

Ingredients For chicken liver bake

  • 1 lb
    chicken livers
  • 1 md
    onion,chopped fine
  • 1 md
    red bell pepper,chopped fine
  • 1
    carrot.grated
  • 1/2 c
    celery,chopped fine
  • 3 clove
    garlic.chopped
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    each...thyme,sage,poultry seasoning,garlic powder,onion powder,soul seasoning
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • salt and pepper,to taste

How To Make chicken liver bake

    take several layers of papper towels an sit on flat surface put liver on it pat dry now mix flour with all spices in lg zip lock bag......add liver shake to coat all while doin this have lg fry pan with several inches of cookin oil in it gettin hot[where drop of water sizzles when dropped in]

    now fry liver in several batches[ do not crowd in pan] just til well browned once browned put on plate do next batch will all liver browned..now add a little more oil if needed....add veggies and cook til soft... once soft remove veggies.... add remaining flour to pan whisk in milk cook and stir til it boils boil 3-5 min

    pre heat oven to 350 spray a 2 qt oven prove pan with cooking spray... add liver and veggies and gravy stir well bake 20 min or so til hot and bubbly

    surve with your fav pasta and a green salad
