This is what I make when I wanted my stepsons help their dad with a project. All I had to say was that their dad needed some help and I was making Jambalaya. They came a running.

Ingredients For chicken jambalya

3 Tbspbutter, melted
-
1small clove garlic, minced
-
1 mdgreen pepper, cleaned and quartered

1 smonion, quartered
-
1 boxpre cooked sausages, partially defrosted

3 ccooked chicken
-
2 cwater
-
1bay leaf
-
1 tspsalt
-
2 cuncooked rice
-
1 can(16oz) whole tomatoes
How To Make chicken jambalya

1Mince garlic in food processor. Add Green pepper. Process 5 minutes. Add to melted butter in pot.

2Slice onion and sausage in food processor. Add to pot and saute.

3Chop tomatoes, add to pot. Add chicken, water and seasonings. Bring to boil

4Stir in rice and cook until rice is tender. Stand 10 minutes and remove bay leaf.
