I made this dish up last night,with what I had in the cupboards,and thought it turned out good..

Ingredients For chicken jalapeno casserole

  • 1 pkg
    jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1
    egg,slightly beaten
  • 1/3 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    grated cheese(any)
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can
    corn(sm can if you like less corn)
  • 1 c
    jalapenos(can or fresh)
  • salt and pepper,to taste

How To Make chicken jalapeno casserole

    Make the cornbread according to pkg. directions,in a large bowl.

    Then add,rest of ingredients,keeping back a handful of jalapenos and the cheese,for topping.

    Put in a greased 9-inch square pan(thats what I used anyway)..After everything is in,then sprinkle the jalapenos and cheese you set aside,over the top..

    Bake at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes,until cornbread is golden..Serve hot..Enjoy!!
