Ingredients For chicken in salsa verde

2 tspcanola oil

1 lbchicken pieces with skin and bones removed

1/2onion, chopped

1garlic clove, minced

1 lbtomatillos, fresh

3green chiles, roasted and chopped

1/2 capple juice
-
1 Tbspcilantro, fresh and chopped
How To Make chicken in salsa verde

1Spray a non-stick skillet with vegetable cooking spray.

2Heat oil and saute chicken then add onion and garlic, stirring until limp.

3Add remaining ingredients.

4Reduce heat, cover, and simmer about 15 minutes.

5NOTE: May substitute 12 ounces of canned tomatillos if you don\'t have fresh.
