  • MARINADE
  • 1
    egg white
  • 1 tsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp
    shaoxing wine
  • 2 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • CHICKEN
  • 1 lb
    boneless chicken thighs cubed
  • 4 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 4
    scallions chopped white and green parts separated
  • 1 Tbsp
    shaoxing wine
  • 1/3 c
    hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 c
    cashews

How To Make chicken in hoisin sauce with cashews

    Mix the ingredients for the marinade together. Add the chicken and let marinate for 30 minutes.

    Add oil to a large Wok or skillet. Add the garlic and white parts of the scallions. Saute 1 minute. Add the chicken and cook until no longer pink. Add the wine and let most evaporate.

    Add the hoisin sauce and green parts of the scallions cook 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cashews.

    Serve over rice or noodles
