How To Make chicken in hoisin sauce gravy

1Mix the ingredients for the marinade together. Add the chicken pieces and let marinate for 2 hours. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place in a strainer. Don't rinse just let it drain for about 10 minutes.

2Heat the oil in a wok. Add the garlic and scallions. Stir fry about 30 seconds at the chicken about 4 minutes. Splash in the wine and let most evaporate. Stir in the hoisin sauce and brown sugar. Let cook about 5 more minutes.

3Serve over rice or noodles garnished with chopped peanuts
