Ingredients For chicken hearts in red wine garlic butter sauce

  • 2 c
    chicken hearts, trimmed
  • 4 oz
    butter
  • 6 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 c
    cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 c
    dry red wine
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh basil chiffonade, for garnish

How To Make chicken hearts in red wine garlic butter sauce

    Trim the top of the chicken hearts of the fatty pieces. You can cut them in half if you want or leave them whole. If you cut them in half, they will cook faster.

    Add the butter and garlic to a saute pan. Cook two minutes. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook 2 more minutes. Add the chicken hearts and red wine. Saute about 3 minutes if the hearts are cut or about 5 minutes in they are whole.

    Season with salt and pepper and garnish with basil.
