This is a recipe I adapted from one given to me by my cousin. It is easy to change up the ingredients to make it your own.

Ingredients For chicken fried rice

2-3 slicebacon

1/8 colive oil

1/8 csesame oil

3 heaping Tbspsugar

2-3 stalkcelery, chopped

1/2 lgbell pepper, cut into bite-size pieces.

1/2 ccarrots, chopped
-
1/2 cbroccoli florets, chopped

3 ccold rice
-
1/2 cfrozen green peas
-
4 ounce canmushrooms, drained and chopped

1cooked scrambled egg
-
2 ccooked chicken, cubed
-
soy sauce to taste
-
3green onions, chopped
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make chicken fried rice

1Fry bacon, drain and break into small pieces. Hint: I like to freeze the bacon for a few minutes then cut it into small pieces before cooking. Also if you want the flavor you can use the bacon grease in place of the olive oil.

2To wok or LARGE pan add oils and sugar. After heating on medium, add celery, carrots and bell pepper. Cook one to two minutes. Add brocolli. Cook one minute. Add rice, bacon, mushrooms, scrambled egg, chicken and green peas. Heat thoroughly. Sprinkle on soy sauce. Mix well. Add green onions. Salt and pepper to taste.
