This dish is one of my families most requested..the crispy bacon and yummy sauce, sets this dish off...my kids are now happy little campers, with full bellies.. Enjoy!

Ingredients For chicken fettuccine alfredo

1 pkg(12 ounces) fettuccine

8 slicebacon , cut into 1 - inch strips

1 lbboneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed

2 cfresh mushrooms, sliced..i used canned and drained tonight
-
10 - 12green onions, sliced thinly, including the green ends
-
2 clovegarlic, minced
-
3 cheavy cream
-
1 cshredded parmesan cheese
-
2 tsppaprika
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspcoarsely ground pepper
-
additional shredded parmesan cheese
How To Make chicken fettuccine alfredo

1Gather ingredients Cook fettuccine according to directions on the package.

2In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels; reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings. Saute the chicken in the drippings until no longer pink. Add the mushrooms and green onions; cook until mushrooms are tender, stirring frequently.

3Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the cream, cheese, paprika, salt and pepper. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 - 10 minutes. Stir in the reserved bacon.

4Drain the fettuccine; place in serving bowl. Add the sauce, toss to coat. Garnish with the additional parmesan.
