Ingredients For chicken divan

  • 3
    boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/4 c
    skim milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    sherry
  • 1 pkg
    (10 oz) frozen broccoli florets
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    instant brown rice

How To Make chicken divan

  • 1
    Cook and stir chicken in hot oil, in large skillet, until browned.
  • 2
    Stir in flour. Add water, milk, wine, broccoli, cheese and salt; bring to a boil, separating the florets with fork.

    Stir in rice and return to boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
