This is an easy and delicious casserole to prepare. I haven't met someone who doesn't love it! Hope you enjoy it as well :)

Ingredients For chicken casserole

  • 5 lb
    chicken (your choice of breast, leg, or thighs)
  • 1 can
    campbell's cream of chicken
  • 1 can
    campbell's cream of mushroom
  • 1 jar
    large size pace picante sauce (again your choice on mild, med, or hot)
  • 1 pkg
    kraft 4 cheese mexican shredded 8oz
  • 12
    corn tortillas (cut into 2" pieces)

How To Make chicken casserole

  • 1
    boil chicken as desired. i usually just add some garlic salt to pot. once cooked, let cool and shred chicken.

    in large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, and Pace picante sauce.

    lightly grease a 13x9 with butter if desired (easier clean up)using a lasagna effect, place a layer of tortillas in pan, scoop some chicken mixture on top, next spread some cheese on top. Repeat step and place in pre-heated oven @ 375 for approx 1 hour. Enjoy!
