Ingredients For chicken cacciatore

1/-4 cflour

3/4 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

3 lbskinned frying chicken pieces

3 Tbspoil

1sliced, small onion

1sliced, small green pepper

1 csliced, fresh mushrooms or canned

1-3/4 c(can 15 ounce) whole peeled tomatoes and juice)

1/2 cwater

1crushed garlic clove

1/2 tspdried rosemary (optional)

1 tspdried oregano leaves

2/3 c(6 ounce can) tomato paste
How To Make chicken cacciatore

1Combine flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper. Coat chicken pieces with flour mixture.

2Brown chicken in oil in large skillet. Place onion, green pepper and mushroom slices on top of chicken.

3Cut up tomatoes. Combine tomatoes and juice with remaining ingredients.

4Pour over chicken and vegetables. Cover, heat to boiling. Reduce heat; boil gently 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
