Ingredients For chicken and water chestnut casserole

  • 4 md
    chicken breasts, boiled, deboned, and chunked
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced onions
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 can
    sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 3/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 c
    finely minced celery
  • 1 c
    cooked instant rice
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 c
    crushed plain potato chips
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter

How To Make chicken and water chestnut casserole

  • 1
    Saute celery and onions in 1 Tbsp. butter. Mix all other ingredients with them. Pour into greased casserole dish.

    Top with the 1 cup of crushed plain potato chips. Drizzle 1/4 cup melted butter over the top.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
