Ingredients For chicken and shrimp a la italiano

2chicken breasts

1 lbmedium raw shrimp

1 stickmargarine

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspcrushed red pepper flakes

1/4 tspblack pepper

1 tsporegano

1bay leaf, crumbled

3 clovegarlic, minced

1 lgonion, diced

1 lgbell pepper, diced

1stalk celery, sliced

2 tspWorcestershire sauce

2 tsplemon juice

1-2tomatoes, chopped
How To Make chicken and shrimp a la italiano

1Peel and clean shrimp, cut into bite-sized pieces. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.

2Combine salt, red pepper flakes, black pepper, oregano and bay leaf. Sprinkle half of mixture over shrimp, and half over chicken.

3In large frying pan, melt margarine. Add chicken and saute until it turns color; scoop out meat, leaving margarine. Add shrimp to same pan and saute until pink; scoop out shrimp.

4Add garlic, onion, bell pepper and celery in remaining margarine. Saute until tender. Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and tomatoes. Return meats to pan and simmer about 3 minutes or until heated through.

5Serve over cooked pasta of choice: spaghetti, fusilli, linguini, penne or rice. Top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
