Ingredients For chicken and noodles

  • 4 tbs
    chicken bouillon granules
  • 4 cups
    hot water
  • 1 box
    chicken broth, low salt
  • 3 cups
    cooked chicken
  • 4 cups
    uncooked noodles
  • 1/3 cup
    finely chopped celery
  • 1/3 cup
    shredded carrots
  • A NICE HEARTY MEAL COOKED IN THE SLO COOKER FOR FALL

How To Make chicken and noodles

    Dissolve bouillon granules in hot water and pour into slo cooker. Add remaining ingredients, and mix well. Cover and cook on low around 4 hours, or until noodles are tender.

    This thickens as it cooks, it is a nice, hearty, meal, that can be made heartsmart, by using low sodium chicken broth, and cholesterol free noodles. You cannot tell the difference. This is also a great way to use leftover cooked chicken. I use the boneless, skinless breasts, but you can use rotisserie left overs, or even turkey would be great.
