Ingredients For chicken and broccoli stir fry with cashews
- SESAME COOKING SAUCE:

1/2 cup water

1 tbsp. dry sherry

2 tbsp. soy sauce
-
1/4 tsp. sugar
-
1 tsp. sesame oil
-
1 tbsp. cornstarch
- MARINADE:
-
2 tsp. soy sauce
-
2 tsp. cornstarch
-
2 tsp. dry sherry
-
2 tsp. water
-
dash white pepper
- CHICKEN STIR FRY:

1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces

3 1/2 tbsp. vegetable oil

1/2 cup cashews
-
1 small clove garlic, minced
-
3 cups broccoli florets
-
1 cup julienned carrots
-
1/2 large onion, cut into wedges
How To Make chicken and broccoli stir fry with cashews

1For the cooing sauce, mix the water, sherry, soy sauce, sugar, oil and cornstarch in a small bowl.

2For the Marinade, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry, water and white pepper in another small bowl.

3For the stir fry, add the chicken to the marinade; toss to coat. Stir in 1 1/2 tsp. of the oil. Marinate for 15 minutes.

5Return chicken and cashews to wok. Stir in cooking sauce. Cook til sauce bubbles and thickens and chicken is cooked through, stirring constantly. Serves 6
