This recipe is fabulous and it only takes about 5 minutes to put together. Perfect for a Saturday or Sunday meal. Spend 5 minutes in preparation, throw it in the slow cooker, then go do your shopping, go to an afternoon matinee, or spend the day going antiquing and flea markets. Come home to cheesy, creamy goodness that's ready to eat. All you have to do when you get home is boil the noodles. You can leave the skin on, but I suggest you remove the skin from the chicken before cooking so the sauce doesn't get too greasy.

Ingredients For cheesy creamy chicken thighs with rotini pasta

  • 8
    chicken thighs
  • 1 can
    cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
  • 2 can
    cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1-1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder

How To Make cheesy creamy chicken thighs with rotini pasta

    Arrange chicken thighs in slow cooker. (You might like to remove skin from chicken so as to cut back on grease content.)

    Combine all ingredients whisking or stirring with a fork to make sure the sauce is well mixed. Pour all of the sauce over top of the chicken thighs. Sprinkle with a little parsley if you'd like to.

    Serve with a side of Rotini pasta that's been cooked according to package directions. Spoon some of the sauce over the pasta for certain yumminess!!
