I found this recipe in a newspaper and thought it sounded real good. it really is good as it sounds! everyone went for seconds and i was impressed by how well it turned out! the soup tastes just like you buy at a restaurant! i really had to pat myself on the back with this one!

Ingredients For cheesy chicken chowder

2 - 14oz. canchicken broth

2 cdiced, peeled potatoes

1 cdiced carrots
-
1 cdiced celery
-
1/2 cdiced onion

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1/4 cbutter
-
1/3 cflour
-
2 cmilk
-
2 cshredded cheddar cheese

2 cdiced or shredded cooked chicken
How To Make cheesy chicken chowder

1Bring chicken broth to boil in large saucepan. Reduce heat. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and papper. Cover and simmer until vegetables are tender. (about 15 minutes)

2Brown chicken in medium saucepan. Remove chicken aside to a bowl or plate.

3Melt butter medium saucepan. Add flour and mix well. Gradually stir in milk and cook over low heat until slightly thickened. Stir in cheese and cook until melted. Add cheese mixture to broth and vegetables along with chicken. Cook and stir over low heat until throughly heated.
