Ingredients For champagne chicken

2 Tbspall-purpose flour

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper
-
4skined and boned chicken breasts

2 Tbspbutter, melted

1 Tbspolive oil
-
1 cchampagne or dry white wine

1/2 csliced fresh mushrooms

1/2 cwhipping cream
How To Make champagne chicken

1Combine flour, salt, and pepper in shallow dish. Dredge chicken in flour mixture.

2Heat butter and oil in skillet; add chicken, and sauté 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

3Add Champagne; cook over medium heat about 12 minutes or until chicken is done.

4Remove chicken, and set aside. Add mushrooms to skillet, and sauté 1 to 2 minutes.

5Add whipping cream to skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, just until thickened. Add chicken, and cook until thoroughly heated.

6Serve warm.
