This recipe was given to me by one of my bosses in the 90's. It sounds weird, but, oh does it taste terrific!!!!! TRY IT U'L LIKE IT!!!!!

Ingredients For cathy's double delite chix & ribs

  • 1 pkg
    chicken, legs and thighs
  • 1 pkg
    pork spare ribs
  • 1 jar
    sauerkraut, do not drain off liquid
  • 1 pkg
    brown sugar, firmly packed, cover the whole top of the kraut

How To Make cathy's double delite chix & ribs

    put chicken on one side and ribs on other side in a slo-cooker/roaster, top w/kraut, (potatoes-carrots, if u wish), and pack the top of the kraut all over w/brown sugar well. bake til falls off the bone. it might take shorter time to cook. but, let cook slow for 4 hours, to be nice and juicy and tender. all up to your preference.
