It doesn't get much easier than this! We enjoy these chicken tenderloins served for dinner with sides. Leftovers are delicious when served on a bed of greens for lunch the next day! Enjoy!

Ingredients For cast iron chicken tenderloins

  • 1 lb
    chicken tenderloins
  • 2 Tbsp
    light olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • (I GO LIGHT ON THE GARLIC POWDER, 1/4 TSP, ADD MORE IF YOU LIKE!)

How To Make cast iron chicken tenderloins

  • Spices in a bowl.

    Mix all the spices together in a small bowl and set aside.
  • Tendons removed.

    Prepare the chicken tenderloins by removing the white tendon carefully with a sharp knife.
  • Chicken coated with oil and spices.

    In a bowl coat the chicken with the olive oil. Sprinkle the spice mixture on all sides of the chicken. Turn until well coated.
  • In the cast iron.

    Heat a cast iron pan on medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 3 minutes. The chicken will start to brown, and the inside will start to turn white. Flip the chicken pieces and cook for 3 more minutes. Chicken is done when internal temp reaches 165 degrees. DO NOT OVER COOK!
  • Plate and serve!

    These chicken tenderloins are moist and delicious! Serve as a main dish with your choice of sides. Great in salads too!
