I came up with this dish one day while I was looking in the pantry. There on the shelf was a jar of Paul Newman's Vodka Sauce and my mind started to create. I had taken some chicken out of the freezer and the crockpot out. I also spotted a can of Snappy Tom mix. Enjoy and let me know what you think. It can also be cooked in a 9x13 baking dish in the oven at 400 degrees for and hour. Enjoy and letme know what you think.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot
Ingredients For butch's drunken chicken

2-3 lbof your favorite chicken pieces

4-5 Tbspolive oil
-
4 cloveminced garlic
-
3/4 cchopped celery
-
1/2 ccarrot, shredded

1 jarbutton mushroom
-
i cpearl onions
-
1 cspicy tomato juice
-
2 tspcrushed red pepper or to taste (optional)

1 jarpaul newman's vodka sauce
How To Make butch's drunken chicken

1Wash the chicken,then salt and pepper it. Place in a covered bowl in the fridge for 45 minutes to an hour

2Place enough tomoato juice to cover the bottom of the crockpot

3mix the veggies in a bowl and set aside

4Take your chicken out and brown it in the olive oil and 2 of the cloves of garlic
-
5layer the chicken and veggies in the crockpot
-
6stir the remaining garlic and red pepper in the pasta sauce and pour over chicken.

7cook on high for one hour then lower the crockpot to low and cook for 6 to 8 hours. Serve over rice or your favorite pasta.
