This is a wonderful salad if you love Buffalo Chicken. Much healthier than deep fried wings this salad is easy to put together in just a few minutes and the flavors are amazing.

Ingredients For buffalo chicken salad

  • 2 lg
    boneless chicken breasts cut in strips
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1/2 c
    franks red hot sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4 c
    leafy greens or romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 sm
    red onion sliced in half rounds
  • 1 md
    carrot grated
  • 2 stalk
    celery
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese grated
  • bleu cheese dressing

How To Make buffalo chicken salad

    Cut chicken breasts into strips, season with salt and pepper and add to heated olive oil in a large saute pan. Cook until no longer pink - about 2-3 min per side.

    Add the hot sauce and butter. Cook for about 5 min to reduce sauce.

    Meanwhile wash the greens or lettuce and arrange on plate, scatter the onion, carrot, celery and cheese on the lettuce. Add hot chicken pieces and drizzle with bleu cheese dressing.
