Ingredients For bourbon chicken

2 lbboneless chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces

1-2 Tbspolive oil

1 clovegarlic, crushed

1/4 tspground ginger

3/4 tspcrushed red pepper flakes

1/4 capple juice

1/3 clight brown sugar

2 Tbspketchup

1 Tbspcider vinegar

1/2 cwater

1/3 csoy sauce

1 Tbspcornstarch (if you want to thicken sauce)

1/4 cbourbon, you can use more or less, as desired. i use 2-3 tablespoons; i don't want to overpower the chicken
How To Make bourbon chicken

1Heat oil in a large skillet. Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned. Remove chicken. Add remaining ingredients, heating over medium heat until well blended and dissolved. Add chicken and bring to a rolling boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, uncovered. Serve over hot cooked rice.
