Ingredients For basil garlic chicken

1 lbboneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bit size thin slices

3 Tbspasian fish sauce

3 Tbsplow sodium soy sauce

2 Tbspwater

2 Tbspsugar

2-3 Tbspcooking oil

1 smonion or shallot cut into thin slices

1/4 tspdried red pepper flakes or 4-7 thai chili's minced

3-4 clovegarlic, minced

1 1/2 cfresh basil, lightly packed
How To Make basil garlic chicken

1In a medium bowl, combine the fish sauce, soy sauce, water, and sugar stir to mix well. Add the chicken and stir well to coat. Set aside.

2In a large nonstick pan or a wok heat the oil over medium high heat. Add the onion and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Stir in the red pepper flakes and garlic, cook, stirring 30 seconds or until fragrant.

3Remove the chicken from the marinade with a slotted spoon and add it to the hot pan. Cook until almost done, stirring, 3-5 minutes. Add the remaining marinade and cook a minute longer. Turn the heat down to low and mix in the basil, stirring until just wilted.

4Serve along side brown or white rice.
