6chicken thighs, skinless

1/4 cfresh lemon juice

1/2 smonion, chopped

4 clovegarlic, minced

1 Tbspfresh ginger, grated

3 tspcoriander seeds

1 Tbspcumin seeds

1 Tbspfresh lemon juice

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppaprika

pinch of chili powder (indian)

1 cplain yogurt

red food coloring (optional)
How To Make baked tandoori-style chicken

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush the chicken meat with lemon juice and set aside for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, place the onion, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, and salt in a small food processor. Process until the mixture forms a smooth paste.

2Combine the spice paste with paprika, chili powder and yogurt - mix well until smooth. Add several drops of red food coloring until the mixture becomes a deep red color.

3Place chicken pieces in a plastic bag or shallow dish and spread the yogurt mixture liberally over the chicken. Allow chicken to marinate for a few hours or overnight.

4Place chicken on a wire rack over a large baking pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until the chicken pieces are tender and fully cooked through.
