Ingredients For baked barbecued chicken

1/4 c(1/2 stick) butter or margarine

2-1/2 - 3 lbcut-up chicken

1 cketchup
-
1/2 cwater
-
1/4 clemon juice

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

2 tsppaprika
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 mediumonion, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup)

1 clovegarlic, finely chopped
How To Make baked barbecued chicken

1Heat oven to 375 degrees.

2Heat butter/margarine in 13X9X2" pan in oven.

3Place chicken in butter/margarine, turning to coat. Arrange skin side down. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes

4Mix remaining ingredients in a 1-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling and remove from heat. Drain fat from chicken; turn skin side up. Spoon sauce over chicken and bake uncovered until thickest pieces are done and juices of chicken run clear, about 30 minutes longer.
