    whole pita breads
  • 2
    tablespoons olive oil
  • 1
    med ripe avocado,peeled and pitted
  • 1/4 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    hot pepper sauce
  • 3/4 lb
    cooked rotisserie chicken,cut in strips
  • 1 med
    tomato,chopped
  • 2 cups
    monterey jack cheese,shredded

How To Make avocado chicken pitas

  • 1
    Brush one side of each pita bread with oil.place on an ungreased baking sheet. bake at 350' for 12 to 15 min or until browned and crisp.

    Meanwhile,in a small bowl,mash the avocado with lemon juice,salt,garlic power and hot pepper sauce.spread over pitas.layer with chicken,tomato and cheese.bake for 5 to 6 min or until cheese is melted.
