Ingredients For aussie chicken

  • 6
    chicken legs drumsticks
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 6 slice
    bacon cut in half
  • 1/2 c
    each mustard and honey
  • 1/4 c
    each light corn syrup, and mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    dry onion flakes
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 8 oz
    fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • fresh parsley for garnish

How To Make aussie chicken

    Season the chicken drums with salt and set aside. Preheat oven 350 degrees.

    In a bowl mix the mustard, honey, corn syrup, mayonnaise and onion flakes together.Set aside.

    Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Set on paper towels and let cool. Crumble into pieces.

    Add the garlic and mushrooms to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes.

    Place chicken legs in baking dish. Pour the honey mustard sauce over the chicken legs. Pour the mushrooms on top and then the bacon pieces. Place in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Add the cheese and bake another 10 minutes until melted and bubbly. Serve garnished with parsley
